    Each session will focus on a letter of the day! Practicing writing; including cursive, sign language, scavenger hunts and other activities.

    A weekly program that empowers kids to explore self-love, kindness, and the beauty of diversity. Each week brings a fun and interactive activity that gives kids creative ways to discover what makes them unique. Come join us to celebrate confidence, creativity, and community!

We’ve teamed up with our community partners, Sleepy Dog Books, for the perfect opportunity to “taste” tons of new books for all reading levels.

Preview new books, take notes, make a wish list, make a book mark. Leave inspired!

DISCOVERY DAYS

Thanks to our Friends at Mt. Pleasant Members First Credit Union, we are opening the doors for FREE! A FREE Day of Play to Explore, Create, Learn, and Grow at the Discovery Museum! All are welcome from open to close with no admissions cost.

AND its READING MONTH, 11a-12 noon will include a special Financial Literacy drop-in activity. Read a book, do a craft, and learn a little something along the way.

Painting w/Pups

In partnership with the Humane Animal Treatment Society, join us at the Discovery Museum for a tail-wagging good time! Meet some adorable pups, share some snuggles, and create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece together. You’ll head home with a heart full of happy memories and a painting that’s as unique (and joyful!) as your new furry friends.

Eco-Kids

Stop by the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum for an afternoon of fun and activities all about nature! Each month we will explore different topics with a Chippewa Nature Center naturalist. Come every month* on the third Wednesday or just come for your favorite topics. A snack will be provided and adults must remain with children during the program. Museum admission is required for all people and the museum is open before and after the program. * No Eco Kids Club in Aug or Dec
