Stop by the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum for an afternoon of fun and activities all about nature! Each month we will explore different topics with a Chippewa Nature Center naturalist. Come every month* on the third Wednesday or just come for your favorite topics. A snack will be provided and adults must remain with children during the program. Through gentle stretches, silly poses, and imaginative storytelling, children build confidence, balance, and calm—all while having a whole lot of fun. Mothers Day is Sunday May 10th, lets make something special for the Mamas!

We'll be crafting tissue paper flowers, assisting in a special Mama interviews and making cards take home for the special day.

Work with MSU Master Gardner club to learn about planting seeds for your garden this spring! Take home your very own seed starter and help us plant some for our backyard garden!

Join us for a teddy bear check up! Bring a stuffed animal for a hands-on, interactive “doctor” visit with CMU med students.

Providing care for teddy bears can help children feel more comfortable with their own check-ups and medical procedures.

Thanks to our Friends at Mt. Pleasant Members First Credit Union, we are opening the doors for FREE! A FREE Day of Play to Explore, Create, Learn, and Grow at the Discovery Museum! All are welcome from open to close with no admissions cost.

AND its READING MONTH, 11a-12 noon will include a special Financial Literacy drop-in activity. Read a book, do a craft, and learn a little something along the way.
